Host a Food Drive - It’s as easy as 1-2-3.

Each year, we are showered with the support of many individuals, groups, clubs and churches who host annual food drives that may include 1 to hundreds of bags of donated groceries. Our pantry would not be able to offer our neighbors with the ongoing support without the tremendous outpouring of support especially from these donors.

Holiday Drives

The holidays are always a time of reflection and discernment as we give thanks for the abundances in our lives. To learn how you can host a Holiday Drive, please email us at DoorwaysFoodPantry@gmail.com or call 508-761-6380.

As Mother Teresa said, “It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.”

Thanksgiving Drive Supporters

Ed and Lisa Medeiros and the Faith Christian Center have donated hundreds of turkeys at Thanksgiving to food pantries and social services agencies throughout southeast New England to ensure no family goes without. Because the Greater Boston Food Bank is not always able to supply enough turkeys to meet the needs of our neighbors, our supporters have helped to fill that gap. We are beyond grateful to our supporters for not only donating turkeys but also baskets containing all the necessary elements of a traditional Thanksgiving feast.

Christmas Drive Supporters

In 2019, Seekonk 8th grader Kaylen McGovern had a desire to make a difference in her community by hosting a Christmas Drive to collect toys for the children we serve. Her two sisters, Kerrin and Marley joined her along with their parents Brian and Jennifer McGovern for what has become an annual tradition. Thank you to the McGoverns for their care and compassion for the children we serve and for making their holidays bright. We also wish to thank Girl Scout Troop 707, who have been holding toy drives to benefit Doorways since 2017.
